Our client is seeking dedicated Mixers to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities of the Mixers

• Accumulate all pre-approved ingredients from production bins.

• Clearly and accurately document materials used on each mix, including lot codes and waste logs.

• Ensure proper storage of materials per formula and build sheets.

• Monitor the temperature of materials as required.

• Maintain cleanliness of mixing bowls, carts, and the mixing area.

• Report any unsanitary conditions or defective equipment.

• Follow safety procedures and ensure all mixes are free of foreign objects.

• Communicate any quality issues with ingredients or finished mixes to the Supervisor or Production Manager.

• Adhere to the company's food allergen program and quality standards.

Requirements of the Mixers

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food manufacturing environment; bakery experience preferred.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate instructions and correspondence in English.

• Flexibility to work various hours and shifts.

• Proficiency in basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret bar graphs.
