Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and materials, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety on the job site.
Duties
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation according to project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Engage in concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, and masonry as needed.
- Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks when required.
- Assist in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation.
- Participate in heavy lifting and physical labor associated with construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry or related fields such as construction painting, remodeling, or maintenance person services.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to operate CNC machinery for fabrication tasks is advantageous.
- Experience in plumbing or electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team setting.
