We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Coconut Creek, FL. As a Medical Assistant with our clinic, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare professionals in PEDIATRIC patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and delivering excellent patient experiences.
Hourly Wage: $17.00- $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.
Take vital signs and record patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, and assist with other clinical procedures as required.
Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and instruments.
Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Provide patient education regarding medications, procedures, and health maintenance.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in a medical office or clinic setting
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
