Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse events; planning; and implementation.<\/span><\/span> Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.<\/span><\/span> Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.<\/span><\/span> Provides leadership in the practice location.<\/span><\/span> Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function consistent with Florida Law<\/span><\/span> Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span> Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Requirements <\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span>
<\/span><\/span> Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required<\/span><\/span> Preferably 3 Years of experience working in a primary care setting<\/span><\/span> State of Florida License Requirements<\/span><\/span> Bilingual English/Spanish- Strongly preferred<\/span><\/span> Managed Care, Medicare Advantage & HEDIS coding experience<\/span><\/span>
