Associate Attorney - Probate & Elder Law

The Job: Marz Law is hiring an Associate Attorney for Elder Law, Probate, Guardianship and Conservatorship, and LTC Medicaid Practice

Role and Responsibilities:
Marz Law is a law firm in Phoenix, AZ hiring an associate attorney to work in our elder law, ALTCS, and probate practice. This is a full-time, in-office position. Role and responsibilities will include client consultations, drafting pleadings, assisting clients through the legal process, and court appearances when required, including litigation. Attorneys hired for this position will also have opportunities to assist in other practice areas when the need arises.

Compensation: Competitive salary depending on experience. The salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation will be based on experience level, schedule, skills, and general qualifications.

Full-Time (40hrs/week), Salary Range = $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 depending on experience.

Other compensation: “Other Compensation” includes, but is not limited to, discretionary annual bonus depending on performance. or other forms of compensation that may be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range or wage scale.

• Medical (The firm contributes 50% of employee’s medical benefits premium. The 50% contribution begins after three months of employment and the first open enrollment period thereafter.)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in some of or all of the listed practice areas is preferred. Training is available when needed.
• Timely and clear client communication is a must
• Previous experience with court appearances preferred
• Licensed to practice law in Arizona
