Position Summary

• Location: This is an onsite role based in our office at 9808 Medical Center Drive, Ste. 450, Rockville, Maryland.
• Employment Type: Full-Time; Exempt
• Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday–Friday; occasional evening availability required for events
• The Graphic Designer will be a versatile creative professional responsible for developing comprehensive visual communications across digital and print channels. This role plays a critical part in creating and maintaining the organization’s brand identity while supporting multiple business initiatives — including, digital graphics, printed collateral, presentations, event signage, and web graphics and changes.

Key Responsibilities

•      Create and maintain consistent visual brand elements across all platforms

•      Produce invitations, membership packets, and branded merchandise designs

•      Produce email marketing graphics and digital advertisements

•      Design digital and print marketing materials, including graphics for social media, and marketing campaigns, website

•      Perform edits and updates to website content via WordPress

•      Create brochures, flyers, booklets, banners, toolkits, and event signage

•      Prepare print-ready files, including layout, color correction, and pre-flight checks

•      Coordinate with print vendors for production

•      Design PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use

•      Maintain and update brand guidelines and asset libraries

•      Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

•      Maintain organized file naming and storage for design assets

•      Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

•      3 to 5 years of professional design experience

•      Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

•      Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

•      Proficiency with Microsoft Office

•      Experience creating presentations in PowerPoint

•      Experience performing edits within WordPress

•      Web design and image optimization knowledge

•      Strong working knowledge of print production processes, file formats, and color management

•      Excellent sense of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy

•      Portfolio demonstrating both print and digital work

•      Excellent verbal and written communication skills; collaborative team player

•      Ability to work on-site at events for physical setup for signage and support for events 

•      Comfortable with occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or support events

•      Ability to stay informed about emerging design trends, tools, and best practices

Compensation and Benefits

Annualized salary range: $45,000-$60,000 commensurate with experience. This is an exempt level role.
