We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team and provide high-quality
services to individuals, couples, and families. The LCPC will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based counseling interventions to support clients in managing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals, and fostering a safe, supportive environment that promotes personal growth and resilience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, cultural competence, and a commitment to ethical practice while empowering clients to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy, offering psychosocial support and education.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, problem-solving, and art therapy.
Conduct client activation, assessment, diagnosis, advocacy, and delivery of counseling services in clinical and telehealth settings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, client-centered care.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing professional development.
Complete special projects assigned by Clinical Director and/or CEO.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling or a related field. Full licensure through the Maryland Department of Health Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as an LCPC, meeting all board requirements and able to practice independently.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostics, care coordination, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and plan of care development.
Experience with art therapy, evidence-based interventions, and short-term skills development.
Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Experience with mental health and substance use disorders, including comprehensive clinical assessments.
