Comprehensive Medicine is offering a unique position!!

We are an IM practice. We believe in continuity of care. We have an urgent care as well as primary care office in Alpine CA. (15 minutes east of el cajon)

We also do house calls at assisted living facilities/retirement homes, skilled nursing facilities and at some homes all over San Diego. For mobile house calls we are basically Patients primary care but see the patient where they are. We have third party companies who do x-rays, blood work, ultrasound and EKG at home. For house calls we see a wide variety of patients. We work closely with staff at facilities and with home health and hospice. We do advanced wound care as well. It is not required for this provider to do all these positions but there will be a mix of some of these positions.

In urgent care (Alpine) we see typical urgent care patients, we have POC lab testing, X-ray. Suturing, IV skills and strong medical decision making are important.

We are looking for a mix of any of these three positions as mutually agreed upon for the right candidate.

We have approximately 30 employees. We are NON-CORP! We are more of a small practice/family atmosphere. We are looking for long-term working relationships, and pay is based upon experience but, just as important, the candidate’s success of being part of the team/family.

This is an excellent opportunity to see/enhance so many parts of Medicine. This position offers significant autonomy, but also has significant Mid-level/Physician/office back up and assistance as needed.

Customer service is so important. We treat our patients as though they are our family. Communication is key. We are looking for a provider who is willing to put in extra effort when needed, be a team player, but we want a good work/life balance for providers as well. We chart with Athenea EMR.

We offer 6 paid holidays, 80 hours PTO for the first year, and 120 hours annually after one year. There is $500 CME annually, mileage reimbursement. We offer a 401K with match after 1 year. We pay 100% of life/dental/vision insurance, and 80% of health insurance for employees. We provide malpractice insurance. There is no on call.
