Role Description
This is a flexible part of full time role located in Oceanside, CA, for a Nurse Practitioner. The candidate will be responsible for providing patient-centered care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and managing medical conditions, and creating personalized treatment plans in the clinic and skilled nursing facilities. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting tests, administering treatments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role also includes patient education on wellness, preventive care, and chronic condition management.
Qualifications
- Expertise in conducting patient assessments, physical examinations, and diagnosing medical conditions
- Skills in developing personalized treatment plans and managing chronic diseases
- Experience with preventive care strategies, wellness programs, and patient education
- Proficiency in ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications or treatments as needed
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for engaging with patients and working within a care team
- Current and active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Prior experience in internal medicine, primary care, or a concierge healthcare setting is a plus
