Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Staunton, VA. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for recruiting prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and serving as a key point of contact throughout their application journey. Day-to-day tasks include conducting presentations, providing information about academic programs, attending recruitment events, and maintaining relationships with prospective students, families, and schools.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and team members
- Customer service and sales skills to deliver excellent support and represent the university professionally
- Understanding of or experience in the education field to provide accurate program guidance
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet recruitment goals
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience in student admissions, recruitment, or a similar role is a plus
- Will be required to work some weekends and event days.
