Admissions Coordinator – PA Program

OverviewMurphy Deming College of Health Sciences at Mary Baldwin University invites applications for the Admissions Coordinator position with an anticipated start date of spring 2026.The Admissions Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of the admissions process for MDCHS graduate programs (Primary responsibility for PA program) from initial inquiry, application, and acceptance, through matriculation, in collaboration with the Elsmere Education Enrollment Coaches, Program Admissions Liaisons, the Program Directors, and the AVP of Online Admissions & Marketing to meet enrollment goals for each program. This position will utilize best practices for recruiting and admissions to accomplish objectives and goals and adhere to applicable processes, practices, and guidelines to serve prospective students, applicants, students, and colleagues effectively, accurately, and efficiently.About MBUMary Baldwin University is a private university enrolling nearly 1,800 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels on campuses in Staunton and Fishersville, Virginia, and online. • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred
• At least two years of experience in college admissions preferred
• Proven experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office is required, and database/CRM Management tools.
• Customer Service focused with demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with constituents of all levels.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must hold a valid Virginia driver’s license
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred
• At least two years of experience in college admissions preferred
• Salesforce and or Slate database experience preferred
  
  

Physical Demands & Work Environment:Due to the hands-on nature of network support, this is an on-premises position located in Staunton, Virginia.Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs.).Ability to work in server rooms, telecom closets, and other infrastructure spaces.Occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call work may be required to support after-hours maintenance windows and emergency response for network-related outages or critical changes.Application ProcessMary Baldwin University is committed to promoting a culture of equity and inclusion among students, staff, and faculty.
