OverviewMurphy Deming College of Health Sciences at Mary Baldwin University invites applications for an Administrative Assistant for the Occupational Therapy Program beginning August 2026. The Administrative Assistant position for the Occupational Therapy Program is an entry level position that supports the needs of the Occupational Therapy Department and clinical education through software management, clerical support, data entry, and event support as needed. Occasional weekend and/or evening hours may be required during Commencement Weekend, Homecoming Weekend or other special events. - Professional presence with excellent interpersonal communication and
- written skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with regular interruptions.
- Associate’s degree or any combination of education and experience that illustrates the knowledge and skills to fulfill position responsibilities.
- Hold a valid Virginia driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with database management tools.
- Previous experience in a professional/office environment
