Manufacturing Training Assistant
Location: Greenville, Michigan

Employment Status: Hourly non-exempt
U-Line, Viking, and Marvel Refrigeration — leaders in premium undercounter refrigeration and ice products — are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Training Assistant to support training initiatives across our production teams. This role is essential in helping ensure manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices are clearly communicated and consistently followed on the production floor.
As a Manufacturing Training Assistant, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Training and cross-functional teams to coordinate, deliver, and track training programs. You will play a key role in onboarding new employees, maintaining training documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering training programs for production employees, including onboarding and skills development
- Support the creation and maintenance of training materials such as SOPs, job aids, and work instructions
- Help coordinate and schedule training sessions and track employee participation
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation
- Provide hands-on support during shop-floor training on equipment, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Assist in maintaining skills matrices and cross-training programs
- Work with supervisors and trainers to identify training needs and performance gaps
- Ensure training materials and activities align with company safety policies and procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to training effectiveness
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (training or support role preferred)
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general safety practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to support training sessions and work effectively with production teams
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Production based and office
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday- Friday (with occasional overtime as needed)
