What are the responsibilities and job description for the MDD Meat Asistant Section Manager position at MARUKAI CORPORATION?
- Assist department and section managers in store development, including facility, product, and team organization.
- Conduct on-site visits as needed to monitor store operations, inventory management, freshness checks, and sanitation management within the work area.
- Work with section managers to develop products and implement product revisions and discontinuations within the section. Ensure food safety, customer satisfaction, and cost control from the early stages.
- Build teams and establish operating procedures and instructions for existing stores and new business locations.
- Ensure product registration and product master management.
- Negotiate product development and product purchasing.
- Ensure inventory management and implement appropriate purchasing plans based on sales plans and sales volumes to prevent product stockouts.
- Perform other duties as directed by a supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales at a store in one of Perishable departments (produce, fresh fish, or meat), including procurement duties, store numerical management, and sales guidance.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and general facility safety practices and procedures
- Must be able to use job related equipment such as knives, wrappers, scales, compactors, garbage disposals, hand trucks and pallet jack.
- Comfortably connect with people and reach a level of hospitality that exceeds customers' expectation
- Has passion about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment and can still maintain a calm demeanor
- Able to approach every situation with a YES! attitude and seek to find a solution to all opportunities that arise.
- Must have mathematical skills which related to the job function

Perishable Assistant Section Manager will assist the Section Manager in developing and implementing weekly and monthly sales plans to achieve each section's budget.
