Duties
- Assist with the installation of various hardscape elements such as pavers, stonework, retaining walls, and decorative concrete features.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to prepare surfaces, cut materials, and complete installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise placement of materials.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting forms for concrete pouring, and ensuring proper grading for drainage.
- Collaborate with team members to lift, move, and position heavy materials using appropriate equipment such as heavy machinery or manual techniques.
- Support other trades such as carpentry, masonry, or landscaping as needed to ensure project continuity.
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents on-site.
Skills
