What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Laborer/Pipe Layer position at Martin Underground?
```Duties``` - Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sewer, and drainage systems - Lay pipe sections and connect them using cement or glue - Align and position pipes using equipment such as lasers and levels - Dig trenches using hand tools or heavy machinery - Install and connect pipe fittings, valves, and other components - Test pipelines for leaks and ensure proper functioning - Backfill trenches and restore work areas to their original condition ```Qualifications``` - Previous experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of pipe laying techniques and procedures - Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans - Proficient in operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, loaders, bulldozers, and front loader trucks - Familiarity with concrete forming, welding, utility locating, oil and gas industry standards, plumbing, and concrete finishing is a plus - Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
