Plastics Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Startup and Operation of Injection, Blow Molding and Palletizer machines.
• Perform quality checks on bottles, buckets, and other containers to insure quality of product.
• Report any unsafe condition immediately to Production Supervisor
• Report any unsafe acts by anyone to the Production Supervisor
• Stay with any equipment that is "running"
• Cross-train on all machines to learn how each one operates
• Identify any areas where you feel cost savings may be attained
• Any other duties assigned by management
• Keep regrind down

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift in a non climate control environment.
• Ability to multi-task
• Computer skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Smackover, AR 71762 (Required)
