We are looking to add a motivated, effective, experienced contract dining Food Service District Manager to our Columbus, Georgia area team.
As a Food Service District Manager you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of food service workers and manage all aspects of our cafeteria style food service locations to ensure that customers and clients never miss a meal.
This position will oversee a market of locations in southwestern Georgia . Some overnight travel.
What you'll be doing:
· Overseeing all functions of our contract dining food service accounts
· Managing and leading a team of managers and associates, including overseeing the hiring and training new employees
· Ensuring that staff meet all culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations
· Managing budgets for these locations, ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts
· Addressing client service needs.
Background Must-haves:
· At least 3 years of experience coordinating large volume contract dining food service operations
Previous experience with menu planning and batch cooking operations
· Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with both hourly staff and company executives.
· The ability to manage in a diverse environment with a strong focus on client and customer services and satisfaction.
· Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications
· ServSafe and/or HACCP certification
Compensation and Benefits:
· Salary base for this role ...$75-85K Base
· This role is also annual bonus eligible at 20% of base salary
