What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Dispatcher position at Martin Mechanical?
Job Description –· Supervise and support HVAC technicians, installers and dispatch teams to ensure efficient workflow.· Create and maintain accurate service work orders.· Create internal POs as required.· Clearly communicate appointment times, technician ETA, and service updates to customers.· Assign technicians to jobs based on location, skillset, availability, and urgency.· Coordinate with the parts and inventory team to ensure technicians have the materials required before dispatch.· Coordinate with the service admin daily to ensure efficient workflow on scheduling.· Stay up to date on customer information accuracy and update as needed.· Billing and invoicing support on service projects, jobs, work orders and preventive maintenance contracts. Collaborate with the accounting department.· Facilitate preventative maintenance contracts to ensure efficient workflow.· Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.· Attend mandatory service meetings.
