Description
Martin/Martin, Inc. is searching for an outstanding engineering student to join our Structural Engineering Group as an intern at our Cheyenne, WY office. This opportunity will focus mainly on new building structural design, but interns may also have the chance to gain experience in technical research, renovation of existing buildings, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
During a typical work week, interns work on engineering calculations, developing drawings, visiting sites, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and supporting internal technical projects.

- Completes simple engineering calculations and models
- Prepares presentations

WORKING CONDITIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
This position is technical in nature, working mostly inside of the office completing a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:
- Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard
- Remain stationary for long periods of time
- Read, communicate, and document in English
- Identify color
- Determine and exchange accurate information
- Occasionally move about outside of the office
- Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Eager to learn
- High school diploma
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
- Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- 2-4 years of college experience
