What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Help/Laborer position at Martin Marietta?
Martin Marietta is currently hiring a Laborer for summer help for our Olathe Quarry located in Olathe, Kansas. This role will be responsible for performing and maintaining utility work and heavy equipment operation at our mine site.
Essential Functions
Must be able to or willing to learn to operate safely with all mobile equipment, including haul truck, motor grader, water truck, loader and crane. Assist in plant repairs and clean-up. Perform pre-shift safety inspection on equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment. Report needed repairs to shop personnel. Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment. Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations. Perform duties with minimum supervision.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED Must have a valid Driver’s License
