Overview:
Martin Enterprises & Hauling is a company that's growing fast and looking for Dedicated people to help us grow more, we are seeking a Equipment operator who can lead a team of 2 or 3 people on a job site. You must know how to read blueprints, run a transit and put stuff on grade to where it needs to be. We are looking for a person who has good communication skills with their fellow team workers and customers. You must have site management and being willing to make decisions when they need to be made. One thing as the owner of the company I will tell you this, If you take care of the company and help the company grow the company will take care of you.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers on-site to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure work meets industry standards and specifications.
- Manage project budgets and assist in construction estimating to maintain financial accountability.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate smooth project operations.
- Provide training and support to crew members in the use of tools such as ohmmeters and other equipment.
- Monitor progress against project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
- Previous supervisory experience in a construction setting is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and quality control measures is preferred.
- Proficiency in using construction management software including HeavyBid, Primavera P6, ProCore, and Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to construction site safety.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and contracts accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
