Trucking Dispatcher
The Mart Group is currently seeking a Part Time Trucking Dispatcher. The preferred candidate will have 1-2 years’ experience in dispatching, production operations, and data entry. The Trucking Dispatcher makes daily dispatching decisions for the truck resource available and assigned jobs needed in an efficient, timely manner. They also post the daily schedule, schedule appointments, and move trucks to new assignments throughout the day. May also go on parts runs or other assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
· Dispatch assigned tasks for the day
· Create daily schedules each night
· Track inbound and outbound loads
· Track daily maintenance reports
· Input fuel data reports
· Accurately track and enter Data from trucks
· Coordinate forecasted production needs with the plant managers
· Oversee fuel transactions.
Qualifications:
· Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills, including the ability to work well with others
· Help control downtime by quickly communicating diagnostics/troubleshooting and being adaptive to current production needs
· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications.
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Use phone technology for assigned apps and software
· Solid judgment and problem solving
· Positive team attitude
· Works well with others
· Ambitious work ethic
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
