Marshfield Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Food Prep team member to join our Culinary team. This is an important behind-the-scenes position responsible for keeping our kitchen clean, organized and running efficiently while also assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen support.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team and is comfortable in a busy food & beverage environment. Previous experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Wash and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans and cooking equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen work area
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors and maintain cleanliness throughout kitchen-related areas
- Empty trash, recycling and other waste and maintain clean receptacles
- Assist with receiving and properly storing food and kitchen deliveries
- Help maintain coolers, freezers and storerooms in a clean and organized condition
- Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as directed
- Restock and transfer supplies between storage and work areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation and personal hygiene standards
- Assist the Culinary team during busy service periods
- Complete routine and weekly kitchen cleaning responsibilities
- Attend department meetings and perform other duties as assigned by Culinary leadership

Physical Requirements
This is an active position that requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending and repetitive motion, and the ability to lift, push or pull up to approximately 50 lbs. The position works in a kitchen environment that can be hot, humid and noisy.

Schedule: Day, evening, weekend and holiday availability as scheduled
