What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ground School Instructor / Clinical Instructor position at Marshall University?
Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School, located at Yeager Airport (KCRW), seeks qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month Ground School Instructor Position at the rank of Clinical Instructor. The position will begin no later than December 1, 2025, and may begin earlier at the mutual convenience of the flight school and successful candidate.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate aviation courses and work as a flight instructor within the Part 141 flight education program. Teaching duties may include face-to-face, virtual, and online teaching. In addition, the individual will
- Help students with course schedules
- Assist with academic advising,
- Assist with the assessment of the program’s academic outcomes
- Participate in the review, revision, and development of courses
- Engage in research and professional service within the guidelines of the University and other duties as required by the Director/ Chief Flight Instructor.
- Promotional Events where Instruction is included.
