Job Description
The Department of Chemistry at Marshall university seeks candidates for a one-year temporary Instructor position starting August 2023 at the Huntington campus. Candidates must have a graduate degree in chemistry, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and outstanding communication skills. Duties will include a full time teaching load of 12 hours per semester which may consist of a variety of chemistry courses at the undergraduate level, including departmental or university services. Candidates selected for interview must have transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) forwarded directly to the Chair of the Search Committee by their degree-granting institutions prior to the interview (unofficial are sufficient for interviews). Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
