Assistant Athletic Trainer
Training Room
1) The role is responsible for providing daily medical coverage for both Marshall University’s football team and women’s tennis team. Responsibilities include providing medical coverage to the football team in collaboration with a team of athletic trainers, while also serving as the exclusive provider of medical coverage for the women’s tennis team.
2) Responsibility for accurate record keeping, insurance billing and communicating with physicians, coaches, athletic trainers, and student athletic trainers.
3) Teaching responsibilities include clinical supervision of student athletic trainers.
4) Other clinical and administrative duties assigned by the Marshall University Head Athletic Trainer.
Location MU - Marshall University Salary Range $35,568 - $44,400; Salary may be increased based off education, experience, and internal equity. Training Room

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Athletic Training required.
Experience
- BOC Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Master’s Degree in Athletic Training preferred.
Experience
- Two years of experience in intercollegiate athletic training or equivalent preferred.
- CPR and First Aid Instructor certification preferred.
