Job Summary:
The Office Facilities Assistant supports the smooth operation and upkeep of the office environment. This role helps ensure that office facilities are clean, safe, well-maintained, and fully functional for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office setting. The position involves occasional travel between office locations or to vendor sites, so a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
· Perform basic maintenance tasks such as assembling office furniture, replacing light bulbs, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
· Act as the first point of contact for reporting facility issues; escalate to vendors or contractors as needed.
· Coordinate incoming/outgoing deliveries
· Support office moves, desk setups, and rearrangements.
· Monitor cleaning materials, and breakroom items.
· Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance schedules and safety inspections.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety standards (e.g., fire exits, first aid stations, PPE).
· Liaise with cleaning and maintenance vendors to schedule regular services and urgent repairs.
· Assist with routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and reporting of facility issues.
· Respond to internal service requests from staff in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
· Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or office support role preferred.
· Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, lighting, security) is helpful.
· Proficient with basic tools and comfortable with minor repairs or troubleshooting.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy office setting.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office or facilities management software is an advantage.
