Overview:
Our client—a leading global provider of corporate, wealth, pension, and fund services—is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of legal matters with a particular focus on fund formation and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal counsel on a wide array of matters, particularly relating to private and registered investment funds.
- Advise on fund formation, operation, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation including contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage legal risk and support business growth.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 8 years of experience, either in a large law firm and/or in-house setting
- Strong background in investment management/funds work. Additional experience in more general corporate work is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage complex legal matters in fast-paced, international environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation:
All-in cash compensation (base bonus) is expected to be in the range of $350,000-400,000
