To coordinate the overall sanitation of the facility and the handling of all waste streams. This includes dealing with Contractors and outside service vendors in the areas of scrap, cleaning chemical usage and overall facility sanitation.

What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
- 1 years experience in a manufacturing sanitation or industrial sanitation related role
- Proficient in MS Office and email
- Technical degree or certification
- Understanding of the clean in place (CIP) process
- Forklift experience
- Experience with sanitation equipment (scrubbers, pressure washers, etc)
- Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
- Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
- Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
- Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
- Operate and maintain the waste treatment facility and perform equipment teardown, rebuilds, chemical titrations, troubleshooting and inspections.
- Set up, operate, and maintain CIP (Clean-In-Place) systems and support area cleaning, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Monitor operations to ensure all specifications are met and documented.
- Disassemble, reassemble, sanitize, and inspect production equipment.
- Assist in planning and coordinating plant shutdown activities.
- Follow up on unplanned work orders.
- Train and mentor Maintenance Services associates.
- Manage interactions with outside vendors.
- Identify, propose, and implement improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage the waste treatment plant, schedule scrap/waste removal and replenish cleaning chemical inventories.
