Mars United Commerce is currently seeking a Resource Manager. This position ensures that the team operates in a highly efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality standards and supports the Operations Director and team by managing scoping and establishing processes and ways of working to consistently deliver a best-in-class product and service.

Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from either Mars United Commerce’s Bentonville or New York locations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Functional Operations/Resource Management Director
• Agency Resource Management
• Enhance our talent base and manage our talent needs
• Support the full strategic, creative, and production process in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Performance Expectations:

Business Support

• Manage resourcing forecast spreadsheets for all departments based on inputs from weekly meetings
• Assist Functional Operations Lead with freelance scope/staff budget management
• Assessing talent needs across the agency and acting as a point of contact for external resources to book and confirm talent, internally or externally.
• Management and proactive building on pre-existing network of contacts
• Review, analyze and evaluate skill sets of employees to better cast them to projects and match team members against projects
• Execute solutions to resolve issues that arise related to resourcing across the agency, such as resourcing booking conflicts or under/over allocations of current staff members.
• Monitor day to day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work with department leads to address and solve those issues
• Recommend process improvements for Resource Management and partner with functional Operations Lead with any resourcing integrations with Publicis Groupe
• Assist in management of functional department budgets, setting up and leading Monthly Forecast meetings with Finance
  
  

Financial Administrative Talent

• Support Talent with the organization & review of “new hire” paperwork for employees
• Partner with Talent to prepare documentation and paperwork for all talent and freelance hires
• Partner with IS to ensure freelance teams are set up in the system, are provided the resources (computer, email, software) necessary to complete the contracted tasks
• Manage NDA documentation for vendors as needed
  
  

SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field
• 5 years of marketing or operations experience, agency or project management experience preferred
• Interest in the Operations/Resourcing discipline
• Experience in Shopper Marketing is a plus
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage time, adhere to strict timelines, multitask and work well under pressure
• Ability to support with Functional Operations and Resource Management
• Detail Oriented, Strong Business & Personal Ethics
• Proactive nature in the seeking of work/responsibility
• Dependability in execution of work and as member of assigned team

Compensation Range: $73,910- $116,380 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
