Warehouse Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Perform order picking and packing duties, preparing items for shipment while adhering to quality standards.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in warehouse distribution operations.
• Execute stocking procedures to ensure products are readily available for order fulfillment.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of warehouse equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preference.
• Knowledge of packaging techniques and order fulfillment practices.
• Experience with materials handling.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
