MRI Technologist
Location: Kenosha, WI 53142
Schedule: Friday–Sunday | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (12-Hour Day Shift, 36 Hours/Week)
Contract: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Start Date: Tentatively August 10
Join a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center in Kenosha, WI, providing MRI services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with strong Siemens MRI experience to work a dedicated weekend schedule in a collaborative imaging department.
Mandatory Requirements to Apply
- Minimum 1–2 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Outpatient experience accepted with a strong MRI exam mix
- First-time travelers welcome with significant recent Siemens MRI experience
- Current BLS Certification
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Certification required
- No Wisconsin state license required
- Strong experience with Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners
- Proficient in MRI safety practices, patient screening, implant workups, and peripheral IV starts with contrast administration
- Experience using Epic EMR preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
- Operate Siemens Sola 1.5T and Siemens Skyra 3T MRI scanners.
- Perform a variety of MRI studies including brain, spine, extremity, abdomen, pelvis, prostate, and MRCP imaging.
- Follow MRI safety protocols, complete implant screening, and ensure accurate patient preparation.
- Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast when appropriate.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the imaging team to deliver quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR and PACS systems.
- Participate in the department's on-call rotation and provide holiday coverage as scheduled.
- Support a safe, efficient workflow while delivering compassionate patient care.
