Full Time Night Auditor

Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during the overnight shift while completing the hotel's daily accounting and audit procedures. This position combines front desk responsibilities with financial reporting to ensure accurate daily records and a smooth transition to the next business day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures.
• Answer phone calls, make reservations, and respond to guest requests.
• Process room charges, payments, and adjustments accurately.
• Perform the nightly audit reports.
• Reconcile cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Ensure guest safety and hotel security during overnight hours.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby.
• Prepare the breakfast area and stock supplies for the morning shift when required.
• Communicate important information to management and incoming staff through shift reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hotel, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and financial information.

Typical Shift:

• Overnight 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
