We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Community-Based Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services within community settings, supporting individuals and families facing diverse behavioral health challenges. • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and risk assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, art therapy, and trauma-informed approaches like PTSD care.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions focused on behavioral health, child and family counseling, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and motivate positive change.
• Manage case documentation accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all medical records and notes are up-to-date and detailed.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and community agencies to coordinate home and community-based care strategies.
• Apply conflict management skills to navigate challenging situations effectively while maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Collect data on treatment progress to inform ongoing care adjustments and ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential.
• Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other disabilities in community settings.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles, mental health counseling techniques, and crisis management strategies.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic health record systems compliant with HIPAA.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver psychotherapy effectively across diverse populations including children and families.
• Experience applying applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, or trauma-focused interventions such as PTSD care is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflicts constructively while fostering trust and rapport with clients and their support networks.
