Summary / Objective
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for carrying out the direction of the Construction Manager regarding quality control activities and related duties.
The Quality Inspector position is responsible for but not limited to the following.
- Performing visual inspection for in-process and final QC inspections
- Documentation of inspections
- Completion of Final turnover packages
- Submitting Final turnover packages to customer
- Retention of all documents pertaining to quality control
Essential Functions
- Be able to perform all the principal duties and accountabilities of the Quality Control Inspector
- Maintain a constant drive to achieve safety and quality outputs to meet targets
- Communicate effectively with Superintendents, General Foreman, Foreman, and field leads daily on quality concerns
- Inspect crews work for compliance with industry quality standards. Ensure that correct procedures are followed and point out any deficiencies and take corrective action if needed.

Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent
- CWI Certification
- Be able to read, write, speak and communicate in English
- Obtain Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certifications
- Two (2) years of experience in a Quality Inspector capacity
- Two (2) years of previous experience in the chemical industry
- Required to always wear PPE on job site.
- Ability to pass Hair Follicle Testing
- Acceptable Background
- TWIC Card
- Ability to work overtime.
- Successful complete all Formosa Safety Training
