Freeport, TX - Coating Foreman

The Coating Foreman will schedule, coordinate, and supervise craft employee activity, within the applicable discipline on multiple projects. Reports to Project Manager for daily scheduled work priorities, coordination of technical and site-specific work activities and craft crew distribution.

Essential Functions

• Ownership /ensures client and Company safety rules, policies, and practices are documented and adhered to. Ensure the implementation of any safety corrective measures.
• Understand and adhere to all processes that are designed to help complete projects safely, with a high standard of quality with expected productivity
• Supervise Foreman in assigned craft to ensure projects are being properly staffed, meeting project timelines, staying within project budget and proper processes are being followed.
• Periodically inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Understand and adhere to all processes that are designed to help complete projects.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience in a Superintendent role
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of previous experience in the selected craft working in a chemical industry.
• Required to always wear PPE on job site.
• Ability to pass Hair Follicle Testing
• Acceptable Background
• TWIC Card
• Ability to work overtime
• Successful complete customer required Safety Training.
• NCCER certification preferred
