Marquis Certified Home Care is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic home care team. As a Home Care Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children by providing specialized physical therapy services in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to identify physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional abilities in pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Educate and involve parents/caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing guidance on home exercises and activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop integrated care plans.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.
• Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental milestones and conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
