Key Responsibilities:
- Administer insulin injections safely and accurately at scheduled mealtimes
- Monitor residents’ blood glucose levels and document findings
- Assess residents for any signs of hypo/hyperglycemia and respond accordingly
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate medication records and follow all state and facility guidelines
- Provide basic nursing care and assistance as needed
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in New York State
- CPR Certification
- Experience with insulin administration and diabetes management preferred
