We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented individual to provide in-home support and personal care to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain comfort, safety, and independence in their own homes.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate to the care plan.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning while following safe practices.
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence, and respect.
- Monitor and document changes in client condition, behavior, or needs, and report concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with medication reminders and other routine daily activities as directed by the care plan and agency guidelines.
- Support errands, appointments, and other non-medical tasks when assigned.
- Follow all safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and care instructions.
- Previous experience in home care, personal care, caregiving, or a related support role is preferred.
- Completion of required training, certification, or state-mandated requirements may be necessary depending on location and assignment.
- Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a home setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with client support, including standing, walking, bending, and assisting with transfers as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for some assignments.
