Principal Responsibilities:
- Reviews accruals and account reconciliations.
- Assists with the review of monthly financial statements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversees cash management reporting and debt compliance.
- Oversee certain auditing processes, including bank audits and spare parts audits.
- Supervises Accounting staff.
- Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP.
- Participates in developing and implementing new accounting systems and processes.
- Assists the Gulf Controller with accounts payable related tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Five to ten years in an Accounting environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks with moderate supervision.
- Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel.
- Strong analysis and metrics competencies.
