What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Specialist position at Marquee Staffing - OC?
We are looking for a QA Specialist who can help maximize our development and content release efficiency, lift our standard of excellence, and ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
This role will support Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce growth for multiple audio brands.
Remote position supporting East Coast Hours.
Contract through 2025
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end testing including regression testing through front and back-end systems
- Validate content, layout, and functionality across various browsers and devices
- Test checkout flows, payment integrations, order confirmation, and post-purchase journeys.
- Identify, document, and resolve defects
- Resolve basic order issues as they arise
- Support the IT team by placing test orders as needed
- Monitor live site for errors or inconsistencies and act quickly to address critical issues.
- Collaborate across multiple teams on AB testing plan
- Provide backup coverage for DTC Product Manager and DTC UX & Optimizations Lead
Required Qualifications:
- QA experience in an eCommerce environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive mindset for identifying potential customer-impacting issues.
- Strong understanding of agile workflows and development release cycles
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Teams, Sharepoint, etc
- Clear understanding of front and back-end user and customer experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Experience working on or within a direct-to-consumer (DTC) business?
- Experience working for a branded manufacturer
- Experience working on or within a multi-brand portfolio?
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience testing Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Magento, or similar platforms preferred.
- MBA / Masters in an applicable field
