About the role
Our partner in Inglewood is seeking experienced and passionate Engineers to join their team! Our client is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to help develop electrical and mechanical systems for automated seafaring vessels. This position would be responsible for designing and prototyping electrical circuits as well as mechanical parts. In this role, you will contribute to building state-of-the-art systems from the initial concept through design, prototyping, testing, and final production.

Monday - Friday, Onsite in Inglewood
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in circuit design using PCB tools such as EAGLE (or equivalent).
- 4 years of experience in mechanical design using leading CAD software like SOLIDWORKS (or equivalent).
- 2 years of experience with surface modelling.
- Extensive expertise in applying DFM principles for low-cost, large-scale production.
- Proficient in hands-on electrical prototyping, including SMD soldering.
- Skilled in hands-on mechanical prototyping through advanced 3D printing and machining techniques.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with STM32 MCUs, with a focus on sensor integration and low-level hardware interfacing.
Experience leveraging NVIDIA Jetson series boards for GPU-accelerated solutions and real-time AI applications.
Proven ability to apply robust design principles tailored to the maritime sector, ensuring reliability and compliance in challenging marine environments.
Fundamental understanding of common communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART).
Skilled in system-level debugging, hardware-software integration, and comprehensive testing methodologies.
Familiar with industry standards and best practices for developing mission-critical systems.
Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
