We are looking for a skilled Mechanical/Plumbing Engineer to join our team!. As a vital part of our MEP department, you’ll collaborate closely with our in-house architects, electrical engineers, and structural engineers to deliver comprehensive mechanical and plumbing engineering services for vertical building construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to develop contract documents for HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring high-quality and compliant designs.
- Prepare comprehensive construction drawings and specifications to support the permitting process.
- Serve as the primary project manager for projects where mechanical/plumbing engineering is the lead discipline
- Provide direction and mentorship to team members, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills.
- Engage and communicate effectively with clients, ensuring project needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Apply advanced engineering principles in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including architectural, structural, and electrical, to achieve integrated project solutions.
- Maintain attention to detail throughout the project, from schematic design to permit submittal, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry, with a focus on commercial building projects.
- CA PE or EIT Preferred, or plans to achieve within 1 year
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
