Test Technician – 2nd Shift

A packaging company in San Diego is seeking a Test Technician to join their team!

Pay: $23–$25/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Ensure project accuracy and quality through document control, SOPs, and auditing
• Conduct client testing according to Quality Systems and Standard Operating Procedures
• Complete testing duties and documentation within required timelines
• Maintain proactive communication and strong customer service to meet client objectives
• Perform testing with a high degree of integrity and data accuracy
• Follow quality processes and procedures while minimizing non-conformance occurrences
• Record, collect, and organize all required test documentation, including equipment lists, instrumentation, and data
• Maintain 5S standards and overall site organization
• Accurately perform data entry and maintain customer contact records
• Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in a testing laboratory, manufacturing, or production environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret protocols, industry specifications, and procedures
• Experience working in documentation- and process-driven environments
• Understanding of packaging fundamentals
• General knowledge of hand tools and light power tools
• Strong work ethic and professionalism
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Basic math skills including algebra, statistics, and geometry
