Manufacturing Associate I
Location: Mira Mesa, CA
Schedule: We have 1st and 2nd shifts available
Monday–Friday, 4AM to 12:30PM & 8AM to 4:30PM
Monday-Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm and 2:30pm to 11pm (training on 1st shift for a couple of weeks)
Pay: $18.25/hr. for 1st shift and $19.25/hr. for 2nd shift
About the Opportunity
The Manufacturing Associate I is responsible for producing standard and/or custom medical devices to meet customer and quality requirements. This role follows standard work instructions and company policies while manufacturing products in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow department SOPs and work instructions in compliance with customer and quality standards
- Properly operate and maintain manufacturing equipment as instructed
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and escalate issues as needed
- Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap
- Understand the manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection
- Complete all required documentation and training accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety standards
- Cross-train in one or more manufacturing areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and accept additional responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
- Dependable with strong schedule adherence
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and production goals
- Willingness and ability to learn technical concepts through SOPs and on-the-job training
- Ability to work in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment required
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, CMDR, etc.) preferred
