Summary
Responsible a variety of administrative tasks and handling extensive paperwork related to materials management.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle and organize documentation related to materials management.
- Utilize Excel and other software tools for data entry and management.
- Planning, creating, and releasing job cards and packets to the shop floor.
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure all required raw materials are available in time to release orders.
- Assist supply chain on Kanban changes and additions.
- Maintain kanban for manufactured items.
- Attend cross-over, non-conforming materials, sales & operations, and any other meetings deemed necessary.
- Purchase order entry for raw materials and other goods (back-up to supply chain).
- Scan documents into systems and to the supply chain team.
- Conducting floor count and utilizing WinMan ERP.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by the Manager.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team setting.
- Ability to multitask while prioritizing responsibilities.
- Self-starter with ability to effectively utilize existing resources to solve problems.
- Computer Literacy and comprehension.
- Ability to prioritize.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline or at least one year related experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
- Familiar with Lean and 5S principles.
- No experience necessary.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with various departments and vendors.
