Special Education Teacher

Marmalade Skies is a warm, supportive educational center serving neurodivergent students (primarily mild–moderate autism) in grades K–8. We provide 1:1 and small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math — and we’re looking for a compassionate, skilled educator to join us full-time. Due to increased enrollment and new small-group programs, we are adding another full-time instructor to our team! This position is particularly well suited to new teachers or teachers who are early in their career!

Salary: $38,000 to $41,000 per year, DOE

Full-time; in-person. Located at 1011 N. Craycroft Road.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math
• Support neurodivergent learners using evidence-based, compassionate approaches
• Build positive relationships with students and families
• Collaborate with your teammates to keep learning fun, structured, and individualized

What We’re Looking For

• Background in special education, elementary education, or related field
• Experience working with neurodivergent students (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.)
• Warm, patient communication style
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliability and professionalism
• Someone who wants to make a difference and have a healthy, balanced life outside of work
