As an Account Executive specializing in technology equipment leasing and finance, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the technology space. You will leverage your hard work and knowledge of technology hardware, software and financial models to build long-term, value-driven relationships with clients. Vendor finance programs, direct lease / loan origination experience is a requirement.  This position is ideal for someone with an interest in learning the information technology landscape while possessing a financial acumen. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the technology hardware and software leasing market. Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline, converting qualified prospects into long-term client relationships.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement leaders and IT executives. Assess client technology needs and deliver customized leasing solutions aligned with their operational and financial objectives.

  • Market Intelligence & Sales Strategy: Conduct ongoing market research to monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies within the equipment leasing sector. Leverage insights to refine sales strategies and strengthen PEAC’s market positioning.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with outside sales and internal teams- including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless deal execution. Oversee documentation, approvals, and process milestones to drive accurate and timely transaction completion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in sales, or the service industry with a deep focus on technology hardware leasing or related industries (e.g., IT hardware sales, asset management, equipment financing).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Foundational knowledge of finance, including the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.

  • Understanding of core financial principles, including the Time Value of Money.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications.

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand systems, processes, and business drivers.

  • Ability to work onsite in an office environment a minimum of three days per week.

  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative, strong motivation, and the ability to drive sales results independently.
