The MMJCCM is looking for a resourceful and tech-savvy Development Business Manager to support our fundraising efforts. This role is ideal for someone with experience in nonprofit development who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to grow. You'll work closely with the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Donor Relations Events Director, and other JCC team to streamline operations, manage donor data, support campaign execution, and work with exploring systems to optimize data exchange. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain donor records and reporting using Excel and DaxkoAssist with gift processing, donor acknowledgments, and donor stewardship activitiesSupport the grant tracking and submission processesSupport Development team in coordinating planning and logistics for fundraising campaigns and donor events Track donations, pledges, and campaign performance using Daxko, Excel, and manual systems, in coordination with FinancePrepare financial summaries and reports for internal use and Board presentationsIdentify gaps in data and propose solutions to improve tracking and reportingLiaise with the Finance Team to ensure reconciliation of identified exceptions Explore and implement tools to improve workflow and donor engagementStrategize the transition of manual processes into more efficient systems (automate where possible)Collaborate with team members to improve digital fundraising efforts (email, social media, online giving)Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and donor engagement planningREQUIREMENTS 2-4 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, or donor relationsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and comfort working in systems like Daxko Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skillsSelf-starter with a problem-solving mindset and willingness to learnPassion for community building and the mission of the JCCPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with donor databases or CRM systems Familiarity with Jewish communal organizations or cultural institutionsInterest in growing into a more strategic fundraising or operations roleWHAT WE OFFERSupportive, mission-driven work environmentOpportunities for professional development and mentorshipAccess to all the JCC's cultural, learning, arts, and film programsInvestment in professional development and leadership skillsFree fitness membership for the pool and health clubCOMPENSATIONThis position offers a compensation of $75,000-$95,000.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
